Vernon was the first to captivate me when I started listening to Seventeen and delved into the diamond life. He doesn’t talk too much, and he may not actively participate in activities like his dear members but his distinct aura adds an irreplaceable touch to the team. Not forgetting this man has the most immaculate performance & stage presence. Black eye is a phenomenal work truly representing the talented and amazing artist Vernon is. there are various reasons mostly i guess the korean audience might not be connected to it much because its all english and the aesthetic is 2000's era. Punk Pop isn't always welcomed by the audience, even though i am waiting for vernon's next bop because he is an amazing songwriter and rapper and singer.

I think it's because of the language and genre, I only found these solos by searching each member's name and if they have a solo, so maybe there was a lack in promotion, I'm not sure.

Vernon singing a 2000’s rock band style song is everything my middle/high school heart could want. I cannot stop smiling at how perfect this song is for Vernon, from the song itself to the MV and I’m so thankful to Pledis for letting each of the boys come out with their own songs that show their individual colors. Amazing job as always Vernon 😊❤
